Thank God Simpson's season 9 came out on DVD yesterday. I watched disk on last night and laughed my ass off....right now they are my only escape from an otherwise crappy life!

I thought the Tanzarian episode was terrible. It's the writers scraping at the bottom of the barrel for storylines. Like when they keep giving Homer new and "interesting" jobs. A man who calls himself Pieman and brings justice to people? Bleh.

Was that off season 9? I thought it was later.

Dude that name alone is just hilarious! I've been calling everyone Arman or Tanzarian all day long. It was a pretty ridiculous storyline but I think that was kind of the point. In one of the flashback episodes they even make fun of themselves for it...Season 9 is one of the beginning of the end seasons though.

Season 9 was 1998? That seems about right.

I tried watching the Simpsons yesterday. They play newer episodes at 6:30 and old ones at 7:00. They had the one where Dr. Hibbert was running after Bart, trying to give him vaccines. And Lisa said "I can handle it! Stick me, doctor." He does, she starts crying and asks for a wollypop, and starts frantically licking it. That's not funny. It was so not funny I actually got angry.

However, at 7:00, the Camp Krusty episode was on. Gold.
"Yeah! We want Crunchy! We want Crunchy!" *belch*

Yeah it was 97'-98' which was probably one of the last season I watched religiously....I wonder at what point I'll stop buying the DVDs? I guess I'll go on a season by season basis.
