Here is my fave polish joke:
A polish guy walks along the beach and finds a magical lantern. The genie appears and asks him for his first of three wishes. The guy says:"I want a horde of Mongolians to invade and raze Poland, leaving no stone on another."
The Genie is perplexed, but grants the wish nonetheless. The mongols wreak major havoc. When asked for his next wish the guy responds with exactly the same answer. Intrigued the genie grants it, the mongolians come and raze the country. "This is your last wish now, make it count." Without hesitation the polish guy answers: :"I want a horde of Mongolians to invade and raze Poland, leaving no stone on another."
"OK", thinks the genie, "those were his wishes." He summons the mongolians again and they smash even the last pebbles to dust.
The genie turns to the polish guy and asks him"When you could have wished for anything, why did you want your country razed by Mongolians."
The guy just looks at him and says: "They have to cross Russia twice".
