okay. hmm, well, they are currently playing 3 bands on the local "modern rock" radio station containing members I am friendly with. soon to be 4.

two of my friends' bands were in the top ten albums list according to the tribune.

one of those bands was on the cover of a local publication touting ten bands on "the verge", and I was at the photoshoot and I'll be in the video. I semi-dated the bass player in one of the other bands in that article and my other roommate dated one of the members of another band in the article. another one of the bands is on the label my friend runs that one of the bands that was in the tribune was on before they broke up. also, one of the people that started that label was actually one of my internet friends years ago when I still lived in ohio...small world.

2 years ago I asked the author of that article to let me kiss him on the lips. he let me kiss his cheek.

also, almost all the bands/musicians I know have gotten record deals within the last 2 years.

people tend to think I am a superstar scenester. but I'm really just a dork who nobody calls. I've heard this recently, "I was gonna call you, but you have your people", and I was like, "I don't! those people think I have other people and then there's no people!" :(
