OMFG! Heard it on the radio! Okay, so I know they're old as balls and they don't have the same drummer but FUCK YES I'M GOING! Fuckin' Led Zeppelin! (y)

i always thought that jones was opposed to anything resembling a reunion? regardless, i'll see them for sure. page and jones are phenomenal musicians, with page being the quintessential, perfect lead guitarist. plant lost his voice years back, but he's worked well without his original marriott-inspired yowls.

not trying to rain on any parades here, but this whole zeppelin rumor rears it's ugly head like every other year, the stories change, but it remains a rumor nonetheless through it all. this time, the story originated from "the sun", and if you're familiar with that publication, it makes the national Enquirer look like the New York Times by comparison. research it yourself online, this one's a real load of bull. sorry. it would have been a beautiful thing, I know. :(

But the DJ on the radio said that he was told by a source close to the band that they were planning a reunion. I don't think he'd risk saying something like that on the air if it wasn't true, because the backlash would be incredible.

I'm still hopeful dammit.

Edit: Researching online hasn't produced anything to confirm or deny what said radio DJ proclaimed.

thats been rumored and tossed around since 1981. Some interviewer once asked Jimmy Page how the reunion tour plans were going and his response was "whu?" to which the interviewer responded he had received information from a credible source.

I saw Page/Plant on the No Quarter tour and it was awesome. It would be great to see John Paul Jones with them. JPJ produced one of my favorite albums, Butthole Surfers-Independant Worm Saloon.

John Bonham died, and I've never heard of the other members wishing to continue on as Led Zep without him. What would make them change NOW?

Until something can be confirmed either way, I ain't buying it.
