So a few of my coworkers and I were talking about this one girl who's annoying as shit that called off today, which is the third day in a row. So, while everyone was rejoicing in the fact that she hasn't been here and might have quit, I said "Don't get too happy. As soon as you think she's gone, she'll pop right back up........like herpes." Everyone laughed except this one girl, who later pulled me aside and said that what I said was insensitive and that she herself suffers from herpes. I apologized and it's cool now, but seriously, WTF. Why couldn't she just secretively hate me instead of telling me that. Furthermore, why would she tell me in the first place. Yikes.
