Here, in about 75 minutes:

Artisan pepperoni
Montague all-meat
Chicken and garlic gourmet

Cup of noodles and an orange. I didn't feel like making a proper lunch this morning.

I'm really starting to hate Cup of Noodles, but on the other hand it's 30 cents.

...you know the guy who invented that just died a couple weeks ago?

His obit in our local paper was pretty big. More like a news story, since so many tech nerds lived on the stuff.

QueenAdrock
02-02-2007, 01:36 PM
Yeah I heard about that.

His product still sucks though. But it's so cheap. I'm conflicted.

abcdefz
02-02-2007, 01:38 PM
Yeah, I know.

Top Ramen is marginally better, but the MSG is through the roof.

banana
almonds
mild cheddar
yogurt

abcdefz

I like how they worded this .....Prawn crackers are a traditional complimentary side dish accompanying a Chinese takeaway in the United Kingdom

takeaway? ...sounds so weird to me....we call it take-out!

YES!

When I was in London over thanksgiving...we were at this schwarma place and they were like, takeaway? takeaway? and I was like, um you mean "to go" and then they looked at ME funny and we just hi5ed and left.

Tomato Basil sounds good.

Why's that salad pizza in the meat section?

Freebasser
02-02-2007, 02:24 PM
yes....take-away just sounds negative to me, but take-out has a happy vibe.

Take-out sounds like a gangster is about to pop a cap in yo ass; take-away implies that you're getting something.

abcdefz
02-02-2007, 02:25 PM
Ah! -- black forest ham. I missed that.

abcdefz
02-02-2007, 02:29 PM

watery lasagna.....ughhh....and seriously, I have to go berate our cook cause chives have no place in lasagna......neither does "chedder" cheese.....at least she substituded cottage cheese for ricotta as per my suggestion....beggars can be choosers in my world........;)

I miss being a kid when you could trade/barter your lunch away.....I used to be able to sell an apple to someone holding a wagonwheel....now that's negotiation friends....:)
