Bob

yeah but it's not one picture or person in particular, it's just something you see constantly and i don't understand why it's so popular. it doesn't make any sense and it's not clever

People that close their eyes or look to the side when the photo is taken piss me off. At least the middle finger people are paying attention.

This behavior is a disease. I worked in TV. It was a common occurance during live shots to have someone behind the reporter waving and making funny faces.

I always thought it would be funny to make a shortfilm about the phenomenon throughout history.

**Have someone dress up like Da Vinci and as he is painting the Last Supper some idiotic sheep herder would start goofing off behind Jesus and the boys.

**Ansel Adams trying to take a photo of the Sahara Desert and a camel jockey doing the robot.

and on and on.....it would be funny.

The thinking pose is by far the worst.
Ah, Le Pensuer by Rodin. I prefer the Heisman trophy pose in all my photos.....or Hook 'Em Horns.

Flipping off the camera shows you're way cool and badass and whatever else the fratboys use to describe themselves looking like jackasses.

I actually have two photos of me flipping off the camera. Both were my mom trying to take my picture. I know she doesn't want to waste her film on a picture of me being rude, so I'd always flip off the camera if I didn't want my picture taken. It worked most of the time...except those two incidents.

hahhaaa.....no.

Throwing a peace sign gives me chills though, I prefer middle fingers over peace signs. Even the Star Trek sign is better than a peace sign.

What's the peace sign? Not the V, ey?

I used to throw up the horns a lot inadvertantly, it started as a joke, but then became second-nature. my mom found a baby picture of me with my fingers curled into a horn-like fashion and blew it up big and taped it to the front door of our house when I had a birthday party once. it was LOL.

these days I usually just open my mouth real big. I might do a fist or thumbs up. :( flipping off the camera usually doesn't occur to me.

usually when someone points a camera towards me, i get away because i don't like having my picture taken.

I think Johnny Cash is the trendsetter for this. It doesn't bother me, as long as they're not mooning the camera.

I'm wondering what's with the asians and the peace symbols though.
