What is the male equivilant?? I'm just curious cus that's what I'm going to start calling myself. I'm still toned and fairly muscular all over cept my belly grows a bit every year now...ugh

I like the word “stout” cus it rhymes with other words like about, shout, clout, and so on….I could be rappin about myself all the time. Anyway my belly is making me consider changing my myspace body type from “athletic” to “average” but I don’t wanna be average….:(

I hear "husky" a lot. Or "teddy bears." Teddy bears are a good thing though. As long as the fat isn't suffocating. I like mens with some meat on them, they're nice to snuggle with. :o

I think it was created somewhere along the same time that it was formally announced America was in an obesity epidemic.
The main reason why I hate the word is that I have a friend who needs to lose weight very badly for health reasons (talking obese here), but instead of coming to terms with her weight, she says "I'm voluptuous! Real men like curves!" and picks up the ice cream again. I know it hurts to think you're fat or overweight because they're harsh words, but I worry about her future. She needs to come to terms with the fact that she's got a problem and deal with it, rather than just using euphemisms all the time to make herself feel better.
This could have gone in the other thread too.

i never had a problem to call myself fat but it hurt when others called me fat, i mean it was the truth
but they didnt think i knew i was fat so they felt they need to call me fat

Lopp, you're Ruebenesque.
Lopp, you're Ruebenesque.
On the dating lines, my mom titles herself "Ruebenesque red-head with a college degree."

Hmm... His name was Rubens (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_Paul_Rubens) but the word should be "Rubenesque". Not r-oi!-benesque...;]
