Has this thread been done? I did some searching and didn't find it.

Anyway, "Crazy Love" by Van Morrison is on right now. I wonder how many people have fucked to that song.

"Let's Get it On" by Marvin Gaye is another obvious but obviously correct selection.

Yours?

"I Want A Little Sugar In My Bowl" by Nina Simone

"Just in Time" is awfully good, too. The recording I have of her singing that (Village Gate?) sounds like she was right on the edge.

d'angelo - untitled.
it was on mtv the other day and i was like "HOT DAMN THAT IS ONE SEXY ASS SONG AND THAT IS ONE SEXY ASS MAN". hell, any d'angelo song. that man is dirrrty. he did a cover of prince's 'she's always in my hair' back in the day. that's hottt too. extra letters galore!

all of outkast's aquemini. apart from maybe rosa parks. that's not too sexy. but still a hella good song.

muse - super massive black hole.

i have seriously mentioned all of these in the past week.
i need an at-home boyfriend.

If you had the vinyl and played it at 45 rpms he sounded EXACTLY like Dolly Parton. Swear to Yahweh.

Oh yes,I have a live record at home (can't remember which) where she is so close something....meltdown,critical mass.....I don't know how best to describe but the emotion is huge....she hacks the audience a few times for talking......I think another remixed/revisioned collection just came out this week.....I adore her art.....(y)

In the air tonight -Phil Collins

Bwahahahahahaha not really. Actually worrying now that i can't think of any. Probably Tricky or Massive Attack type of thing.
Actually Venus in Furs - Velvet Underground-more for the music than the lyrics

Dark Side of the Moon and Hell Hath No Fury are the only albums to which I have claimed my conjugal rights.

Venus in furs is music to shoot junk to. That doesn't mean it's not an amazing song.

Spooky by Dusty Springfield is a pretty good mood-setter, although I'm not one of those people that flicks switches every time they get busy. Doing it to Lil Wayne's Drought 3 the day it leaked is my only vivid musical sex memory. The Upgrade You remix is good for dat. (y)

Hmmm-you could be right! Which would make it about as sexy as plunging your face into cold sick.

I'll stick with Tricky and his brizzle buddies

all of Led Zeppelin II but Whole Lotta Love specifically

George Benson's 1968 jazz version of I Want You So Bad (She's So Heavy).

There is not a single song on earth more sexier.

And as my friend Jimmy Pineapple would say, Case. Fucking. Closed.

edit - whatddya know, I found it online. Its a vinyl rip, sounds like the turntable is playing it about 5% faster than its real speed. Takes away a bit of the sexiness. So ya just gonna have to imagine a bit slower, a bit more mysterious. But still check it out. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n2c9UBXXfDs)

Damn, Crazy Love, These Arms of Mine and I'm on Fire would be ones I would have said. All three are in contention for being played at the wedding or put on some kind of wedding soundtrack. My personal favorite:

I Only Have Eyes for You - The Flamingos

Others:
Lady Your Roof Brings Me Down - Scott Weiland
I'm Not in Love - 10cc
Stay - The Zodiacs
6th Avenue Heartache - The Wallflowers (the only song of theirs I like)
Stalker - Louis XIV

Other Van Morrison
She Gives Me Religion
dammit! Its on the tip of my tongue. Shit, gimme a sec.

How about the opening riff from Pauls Boutique, Idris Muhammad - Loran's dance (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l5y1i4_BWG4). To all the girls

Idris just may be the funkiest drummer ever.
