I've seen Prince live twice and each time he's thrown in a sort of popular yet offbeat cover and it's funked up the audience to the maxx.

I always thought the same thing that Prince was just some anomaly running amok in the pop world, till I had second row seats at the Portland Rose Garden show which completely blew me and 14,000 other people away.

The guy is for real and is playing by his standards.
