because I can't find the old thread.
I hate that I like nice bass to dance to. Because Pitbull, of all artists, has a song that I like due to the bass. I wish I could find an instrumental for Ay Chico :(

mc suffa from HTH does majority of their beat making, i think. on their live dvd, he makes the beat for one of their newer songs and i think their DJ comes along and does some scratching or whatever.

OK so I have a confession to make and some of you will probably never speak to me again but .......I really do dig the new Britney CD. DISCLAIMER...I did NOT buy it, a girl in my office is obsessed with Unfitney and burned everyone in the office a copy, so on my way home, put it in the car...and its not that bad. Take the lyrics out and there are just some really catchy beats.

This chick www.npr.org/programs/pt/4a/sejongs/profiles.html said Beastie Boys is her guilty pleasure.
This is also a great read about guilty pleasures in music: www.guiltandpleasure.com
Mine has to be Rush after "Hold Your Fire". Guilt? Yes. Pleasure? Not so much. I guess I just kept giving the material a chance, hoping I was missing something. I used to know the rap lines in "Roll the Bones". How 'bout Europe? Remember "The Final Count Down"?

Hank Williams Sr., not that Jr. shit, but Senior... The O.G. Hank, it's just as real as music gets, a guy and and guitar and sad stories of hardship.
The Cure, I understand that The Cure was always a band for goths, and suicidal little girls, but Robert Smith is somehow "The Man" in my book, great music, good lyrics, and catchy tunes.. I've got a HUGE collection of Cure CD's many of which I've paid a shitload of money for, and feel guilty about owning now, but I like them...
