What boring ass work are you avoiding at the moment?

Right now I should be continuing my comparison of the battles of Cannae and Zama and their respective impacts on Carthaginian and Roman politics.

i'm supposed to be either working on a memorandum in opposition to a motion for summary judgment on behalf of a (hypothetical) woman who's claiming her employer discriminated against her in violation of the ADA because she's a qualified individual with substantial limitations in the major life activities of sleeping, concentrating, and caring for herself

or

i'm supposed to be writing up a history of disparate impact analysis under title VII of the civil rights act of 1964, or 1991, or i dunno what the hell to call it but there's a lot of supreme court cases

instead i'm drinking beer and playing zelda cuz i can't do this anymore right now

these are both year-long projects that are very time and effort intensive, and then i've got the 3 classes on top of them, and they all require my undivided attention and that's it, i'm not doing it anymore, i'm drinking beer and playing zelda tonight

edit; and on top of that i've got to worry about finding and moving into a new apartment, and figuring out the consequences of this whole rent withholding thing, and i've got a crush on a lesbian only i'm not actually sure that she's a lesbian but i've known her too long to ask at this point and i dunno, i dunno, i've been drinking a lot these days
