Right, so I downloaded an episode of a TV show using BitTorrent (which I've never used before) and it arrived as a collection of 24 separate files. Neither Windows Media Player nor Quicktime will recognize them as files they can play. I did a little research and apparently the thing to do is use something called a "newsreader" to combine the files into one coherent file that WMP or whatnot will recognize. Can someone tell me how to go about this? Any help would be much appreciated.

download "winrar"
install it
then right click on the first file of the 24 and pick "extract here"
yeah, sounds like winrar to me

OK, that seems to have converted them all to RAR files. What do I do next? I still can't play them.

I thought as much, but it keeps telling me I'm missing a volume required for extraction. It wants me to insert a disk with this volume on it, but obviously I don't have one.

You best not, I heard HBO been fucking with torrents for this show. If I get a letter I'm gonna be real pissed off.
