Motivated from studio cam and other insights...

For those remixers/beat makers/musicians/expensive hobbyists/losers who want to be the beastie boys out there post pictures of your "home studio". Take this opportunity to brag about your gear or moan about a lack thereof.

Here's my shitty little corner. The PCR-A30 is the best purchase I ever made (half price brand new!) but its lack of balanced ins/outs is certainly a pain in the signal chain. See I rap too. And my Soundcraft Compact4 (excellent analogue conectivity with PC set ups) and Stanton turntable.

This place (http://www.mp3.com.au/marwan++) ran an article on my studio a few years ago.

Is there a thread like this already? Who cares, mine's better.

Man. It must suck. LOL :D

I like you, mike. I just don't get into the hilltop hoods. I knew as soon as I posted that, that it was silly. But I'm not removing it, because I love my jokes.

Here's my home studio. I just started learning how to use Music Creator 2, but for a while I was just using an RCA cassette recorder. I make beats with the drum kit on my yamaha keyboard. It gets the job done.

Eh... I don't know if I have the rights to call it my home studio yet, but it's what I'm working with to make my own tunes at home... Stick with me for this one, y'all.

One Technics 1200 with my shitty mic (Sennheiser e815-s) chilling on it, my Tascam XS-4 mixer, and a Numark CDX digital turntable. I have a second 1200, but I've put it away for the time being as I've been using the CDX quite a bit lately.

My Yamaha MO8. I can use this sucker to control other MIDI devices as well... it's pretty sweet.

I'm running out of places to but my records (and I don't even have that many) so this is some of 'em chilling underneath the MO8. Yes, that's a 12" of Sexyback.

More records. Check out my shitty, and cheap, way I "shelve" my records.

My DAW. Or, really, just my computer.

Yeah, I've seen pics of this on the HTH site or CD sleeves or something. Looks awesome. I read somewhere that Debris is a real geek when it comes to music tech stuff. Did I read that on their website?

When you say you 'work there', what do you do?

Oh yeah. He's a geek alright. and also the biggest conspiricy theorist ive ever met. hes right into that shit. He's also getting a bit big for his boots. was flashing around his gold gucci watch at a party recently. he asked my mate for the time, and when my mate looked his watch baz pulled out his and says 'oh, what does that say? *points to gucci logo* oh yes, it says gucci. thats right, just checking.' my mate who has known him for years just said 'riiiiiiiiiiight.'

i dont work there as in a paying job, but have been there recording associated hip hop projects that are always going down. just lending a hand.

Yeah but when you're doing as well as the Hoods are nowadays, you gotta pimp that wrist-clock game. :P It was probably fake haha

Nowhere near being a studio but it works.

This pedal is the best investment I've ever made towards my guitar. It's usb capabilities and I can download different effects and replace them with the preset ones on the pedal. There's many different things I can do to tweak out the effects too.
