not having heat sucks

so i have no heat

and it's cold

fortunately i was smart enough to buy a space heater a month or so ago, and it's been keeping me very comfortable in my room, but every time i go out to go to the bathroom or the kitchen or wherever, it's horrible. i gotta wear a coat out in the hallway, that's no way to live

i don't understand how the pipes haven't frozen yet but they seem to be holding out

anyway i'm not so bitter about having to move anymore

It was -5 (with windchill) yesterday. Some stuff/classes got cancelled because it was just "too cold."

I'm also discovering that my apartment windows do little to nothing to keep out the cold.

i'm one of those freakish people that doesn't actually feel the cold. i mean, i can tell when it's cold outside, but it doesn't make me shiver or actually feel cold. you know what i mean? anyway, i save a fortune on heating!
