I'm kinda looking forward to it because it's only snowed a little where I am. I don't really like snow but, I like looking at it from indoors.

I miss the snow, man. I forget how good it is to be cold, and be able to do something about it (unless you're Bob).

I'm just not looking forward to driving in it because the roads around here are crap (our road tax up here pays for pretty lights in London I think).

where did you see snow, pres?
some journalist today told me to expect 6 inches of snow. i looked outside and it is chilly like a motherfucker but still bright and sunny. i was like "thanks for the update. ummm."
i was a suckah for extreme weather on lewis. i've written so much about it that i don't want to repeat it, but bitchez on the mainland who get a couple of inches of snow and think that the world is going to end don't know shit. where randalph lives he's probably gonna get snowed in and not be able to go to work! LUCKY HIM!
last year on one particular weekend it was really bad in glasgow.. everything shut, had to walk post-gig all the way home slipping on my arse every other step. we had to let strangers sleep in our flat because they couldn't get home. it was like a war zone trying to find food the day after. okay, so maybe not a war zone, but still. IT WAS EXCITING, OKAY?
it is funny to drop cats into snow because they don't like their little paws getting wet and they try to jump out but then they just get more wet and awwwhhh.. ahem.

I bought some tinned food today as last year it came on heavy in march, just after I thought I was free from snow, and I had to MAKE bread.
The only problem is work. It can't be helped if I can't get there, but I don't want to get stuck there. A girl I know was there for three days last year, and had to wash her knickers at night and dry them for the next morning.

February in Chicago is brutal. We've had some record breaking weather this past week. Monday is was -10 out...if all your expecting is snow in the UK, be greatful.
We had some snow today, nothing too much. Enough for it to look very white outside when I groggily looked out the kitchen window in the morning.

To clarify: "snow like a mofo" in England means all of about 7 inches, tops. Honestly, the way they're going on about it in the news, you'd think it was an arctic blizzard bearing down on us. This is a country where, if it snows more than a centimetre, all the trains have to stop running, drivers are stranded on motorways overnight, and the supermarkets fill with panic-buyers.
People in places in the world where it really actually snows will be, I suspect, less than impressed.

I woke up this morning and it hadn't even snowed where I am but by the time I got to the gym for PT, it was coming down and now snow is covering EVERYTHING... it's certainly not the blizzard they are reporting it to be though.

Yeah, fucking British people. Like, "yo, a fucking inch of snow! We're going to fucking die! Quick buy tins of tuna and bottled water, lock the doors, shit, this is it".

Yeah I wasn't impressed by the "storm" at all. Today is just a little foggy.
