my knees grind and crunch and get very stiff and achey. a sign that i have osteoarthritis. which is the wearing away of the cartilage that acts as cushioning and provides a smooth surfaces for smooth movement. this is ususally caused by old age or over use. i guess when you ride a 1000 miles a summer since you were 13 you wear them shits out fast
