...anybody interested?

I've only seen seasons one and two. Liked it. But I notice people in the office don't mention it anymore.

Nope. I've never watched an episode because, to me, it looks like a knock off of Lord of the Flies. If you disagree, please shed some light.

Probably because the bastards at ABC don't know how to schedule shows which cause people to lose interest. Plus there were too many questions and not enough answers. With that said. I'm probably going to give it a chance since they are saying its going to be new episodes every Wednesday.

I think I may start going with the renting DVDs for tv shows route. Its so much more enjoyable that way without having to wait.

Yeah, that's what I do.

But then there's a bit of a depressing feeling when you realize you just plowed through an entire season of, say, Entourage and now you STILL have to wait a year to find out what happens next.

Naw. There's a little overlap, but I think Lost is way more hopeful.

Maybe. Depends on how things turn out. But Lost seems to be about spirituality and maybe enlightenment, whereas Lord of the Rings was about man's innate savagery.

Good point.

Flies. Piggysamnericflies.

Yeah. Lord of the Rings is about man's innate nerdery.

Exactly. Also, did outside influences contribute to Sam wanting to put Frodo's penis in his mouth or were his feeling already predetermined at birth? It's the age old question confronted in Husserl's Gay Hobbit Theory.

Did anyone watch?
The recap show was outstanding with commentaries by the producers of the show. It was very informative and I became excited to watch the new show. The season opening episode did not disappoint. I thought it was very good. You may want to quit reading if you did not watch............................................. .........................................
The others really have some fertility/baby issues. We find out that Juliet is a brilliant scientist and can create babies with a simple shot of powerful baby serum. Remember---Sun got pregnant by a "miracle". We thought she might have gotten pregnant by her former lover or maybe it was Jin that got one past the goalie. But.....I remember that Sun was abducted from her beloved garden. Ah, ha, the others have impregnated her with Ben's seed. When the baby is born all pasty white I bet Jin will lose it and go all samurai on somebody. In Juliet's backstory we see the employers that are vying for her services show x-rays of a womb. She guesses that the woman is 70 but finds out the person is 26. I bet it is Ben's daughter. He wants a grandkid.
Well, I am finished for now. Someone say something.

I want to put my thingy inside Kate's thingy.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

You really think Ben's daughter is 26? I was thinking she was probably a lot younger.....like 17 - 20 range. And for some reason I thought she was the French ladies daughter or something. So maybe she was kidnapped as a young'un and raised as Ben's daughter. I dunno....I didn't really follow the last season too often.

Overall....I was into it. If they DO play a new episode every week...I can see myself getting into it again as long as they give us a few more answers and minimal questions.

uhhhh...i don't really have much more else to say.

I do want to go back and watch the 2nd season so I know whats going on with it. Is that out on DVD yet?

I thought the same thing..but who else is in the 26 yr old range? He sent Juliet to make sure she stayed on the island. It is just me guess.

well that was pretty disappointing....how they expect to keep an air of tension up when they dissapear 1/2 way through a season, come back after a couple months and expect the viewer to be keyed up....oh well dvd sales and abc's site I suppose.....I think I just lost interest....pun intended.....the "others" are boring me sydney....
