I worked 14 hours yesterday and I get to do it all over again tomorrow.:(
I'm so fucking beat today. I should have the fucking day off.
I'm not being paid overtime, I am getting a raise but somehow I still don't feel it's enough to compensate for this crap.:mad:

ummmmm it sure is. my boss is a crook. I could leave I know, but I'm trying to get licensed so if I leave before that's done then i've really wasted my time here.

I'm in finance. we manage peoples money and now my boss gives seminars on retirement in the evenings, hence the long hours.

I use to do this to myself years ago. I'd work an 8 hour day job, have maybe an hour off and then go to my second job wich was event management for a museum. Somehow it was easier back then....oh yeah cause the museum was actually fun and celebrities came and the caters gave me wine. yeah that was why.

i work 4 days on 4 days off shift work... 12 hours a shift, 8-8.

by the 4th day im fucked... but then i got 4 days to rest before i do it all again so i dont mind.

and the extra pay and 5 weeks annual holidays aint bad either.

I used to work 13 hours and sometimes wouldn't have a day off for 4 months. It's the life of a contractor.

This job I've got now isn't much different. The other week, I had to work 12 hours and after 8 hours my boss called me and told me that my relief can't make it in and he wanted to know if I could work his shift which was an 8 hour shift.

All in all, I worked 20 hours that night. From 11am to 7am the next morning.

Then, 3 days after that I ended up working 18 hours.
