Anxiety disorders

Has anyone delt with anxiety disorders, specifically who has taken medication for such a thing? If so, did the meds help?....
I posted a long time ago about me thinking about having bipolar disorder (yeah, I tend to over exagerrate as you can tell...) but I've finally have figured it out with help... I apparently have a severe anxiety disorder. It's been almost four weeks, but after talking about it with a counsiller I think I'm doing pretty well... but for some reason I have a wanting for medication...but I'm really confused to if it will help or just screw me up, I'm just curious..if anyone has delt with it before..did medication help?

that's one of those things that happens to be different for everyone. you have to try different ones and see what works for you. talk to your dr.

I get drunk and smoke lots of cigarettes. Once I peeled a big piece of skin from my right hand. Couldn't stop and even started using my teeth to bite it.
