Beastie Boys will headline the Rock Werchter Festival in Belgium on Thursday 28 June 2007. More info here (http://www.beastieboys.com/news/).

Can someone explain this date to me, cos the site says the festival goes from the 29th to the 2nd and they all have headliners! Is the 28th a pre-festival date or what? Still, looks a fairly promising festival.

edit: think I might just be getting the dates confused as to what the US 28th is in belgium etc... they should update their fucking site though!

Werchter is a good festival.

It seems like the BB wouldnt headline the main stage but the "tent" stage one...

dunno, the tent might be cool for them, very intimate, and with the right band they can set the place on fire. seen some awesome bands there.

damn, they just started lining 'em up and allready it's flooding with great bands :D :D

fair enough man. i'm actually quite set for getting tickets, i mean belgium is the closest so far and i can't hold out for UK shows which might not happen this year.

Who has their tickets sorted then? I can't wait. It's going to be great. I'm leaving London on the 6:10am Eurostar (Thursday 28th June). Anyone else getting it?

Now I gotta go for sure. :)

Afraid that idea fell through, too many of my friends are pussies when it comes to travelling. Going by myself and getting some customary home brewed Stellar non stop isn't the best idea...

So, instead it's a 20 minute set at Wembley curtosy of those want-to-be-forgiven friends... it'll do til the actual proper tour which best come to some UK arenas!
