I've done pretty good on keeping my goal. Every since last week wednesday, I haven't done any form of drugs or alcohol. I had a slight buzz the other day. the idea of getting drunk hasn't been such a pleasing idea. I just don't strive to be in a different state anymore. It's been crazy. Granted things have happened that kept me occupied, I still had the chance to trip or get high or get drunk. But, everytime it's been offered...I've denied it without much after thought or regret. I do feel good about myself. I hadn't felt so good like those past few days of being sober and clean. It's been a nice experience...granted boring at some points, but that's life for ya.

I did drink a bit of vodka tonight just because it was a nice where everyone was having a good time and I wanted to have a nice semi-drunk night;. Apparently, I'm ending up at some cheerleading conest with my friend. Not sure how I got into that one, but whatever.

i had a bad week, so i've been drunk twice already.

i think it's bad because i don't feel bad that my guy got sentenced to 15 years -- i feel like he got lucky that he isn't doing 15 years day for day (he gets gain time and will do 85%), and he's lucky he wasn't charged with attempted murder which would have gotten him 25 to life. i also don't feel bad because he brought that 15 years on himself when he lied to the judge about me at least 4 times, then during his sentencing, his apology to the victim ended up with him telling the victim to stand up and be a man.

I haven't had a smoke in two months and I haven't had a drink in two weeks. I feel like I deserved a little buzz tonight and it feels great to get one on. Especially since it will be another month before my next smoke and another two weeks before my next drink.
