Okay, I know this is going to sound crazy. I was watching AIFST again and thought that the "get excited for the DVD, now" guy sounds a lot like Spike Jonze. The guy center screen in the nose bleed shots looks a lot like one of the Owen brothers. I know that the guy was a memeber on here for a short time (I have all of his posting collected) and that he caused trouble and was banned. But I'm going to go out on a limb and say, we've been Spiked. It's just the kind of thing he'd do.

Hmmm...was Spike officially involved in AIFST?

I know there are some official "detours" on AIFST. But I wonder if there are any easter eggs that we haven't found.

i dont think it is spike...


1. william scott is credited as the "get on the dvd" guy in the detour segments, as camera 28... he first surfaced after Brass Monkey/SGH and claimed his fame...
I ran into him in January 06 at the screening in Tribeca and we talked about his legendary shout outs

2. although Spike is indeed in the credits of AIFST as a "Special Thanks", I dont think he was given a camera that night. I'm not saying he wasn't there, but...

3. what do the Wilson brothers have to do with Spike Jonze? The only connection I could find was that luke was in Jackass 2(2006), in a very brief cameo during the credits, which Spike served as writer and co-creator...
