I'm turning 30 in May. I'm not all that excited about it even though everyone over 30 is like "oh it's so great" and when you ask them why they usually say "I don't know it just is."

tell me what positive things come with age?
what do I have to look forward to?
because I'm not looking forward to the fact that people are starting to refer to me a "lady" or "mame" instead of "young woman", "girl" or "chic".

I'll be 30 in July. I am ambivalent towards it.

I'm 30.
It made me feel like a grown up, a bona fide adult that can argue with other adults and not be dismissed. Although, sometimes I get the feeling I shouldn't be places like this, with all you young folks. Mutton dressed up as a cyber lamb.

However, there is technically no difference to me between 29 and 30, 30 and 31. I just don't like the fact I'm heading towards 40, and that seems soooo grown up. I can't imagine being that, even though it's not like it's old anymore.

The chances are you'll feel no different when you wake up on your 30th, and just like everything else it'll be a huge anti-climax.

I'm turning 30 in July. I am sort of mental about it. I also feel like my time in mini-skirts and clubs is coming to a close. Or maybe it should be. But I'm not really ready for it to be. I wanna be a mom, but I don't want to lose all of the cool stuff I get to do with my friends. Its a weird cross roads because it doesn't mean the same stuff for my generation that it has in the past.

30 the new 20 baby I'm so hot still.

Cookie, you still look young. You're probably like me. People won't guess my age as being 30 till I turn 40.
