Which iteration? Guile in World Warrior because of the Superthrow glitch. If you jumped in light kick, standing light kick you could set up four chain superthrows that nobody could really do anything about. Even if they jumped at you, you could just pull them out of the sky.

Ken got the better Dragon punch Champion edition onwards, Ryu the better fireball. I'd say Ken was better.

omg my flat is so hugely addicted to streetfighter 2 atm. i heart it. i heart it a lot.

i finished it in single player with blanca, and ranald was all like "did you do your cheesey electrification move?" and i was like "fuck off!"

i've been playing it with scott/randalph two player and i mostly find myself going chun-li because she is fast, and boy does time and technology make this game feel hella slow, but back in the arcade dayz i was always dhalsim.

the boys always go ryu/ken, but ranald says guile "is ghey" and scott hit him.

he was saying that ryu and ken apparently, i am lol-ing a little because this sounds so dorky, trained under the same dojo and that's why they share some of the same moves.

he also said something about mike tyson, but i can't for the life of me remember what it involved. i had descended into a dribbling incoherent state by then. of course this happens every night after 8 o'clock, but still. something about japan loving mike tyson and him being in the background of the vegas stage.

I disagree. They emulated SF2, sure. And there were heaps of them, so something had to click. But they didn't get really good until King of Fighters 97 or so. And by then, Alpha and EX were around, and SF3 wasn't far away.

And anybody who plays with style knows it's Ken. I never saw anybody owning with Dhalsim.

I got the anniversary SF2 on PS2 a while ago. The default mode is Super Turbo, but you can use settings from the old games (eg, World Warrior Ryu in Super Turbo). I would have preferred to just be able to play every version.

There's an Alpha anthology I'd love to get, and maybe SF3 on 360. Although I'd probably get Ha-Do-Ken lag.:(
