I've realized recently that we only have one guy that hangs out with us regularly...and him and my other friend are married, been together forever. Besides that it's the occasional sprinking of homos. Like the other night we were all out at the bar and some guy comes up to him and is like "wow look at you surrounded by all the ladies". I have had a situation a few years ago when I was friends with a girl and desperatley wanted to be more than friends. Luckily I got over her pretty quick, and found a better girl, or I would probably still be pinning over her because I am pissweak.

i think a lot of people have been through sort of the same thing. especially when you are young and you experience a 'proper' friendship for sometimes the first time and you can go a bit nutbar.

i was the same with my 'best friend' at school, and it was pretty emotionally crushing and painful but i got over myself when i came to university. now he's not even in my life anymore. i realised i was probably just latching onto him because i was terribly lonely and because he was a friend he was the closest thing to intimacy i could have got. and i created a monster drama because one of 'our' friends had a massive crush on me, and he was evidently jealous of the object of my affection. what can i say, there's nothing else to do on the isle of lewis.

whatever, teen dramas. when you're an adult the emo stuff goes out of the window, haha! coming to university and meeting a lot of boys who i enjoyed just hanging out with and they enjoyed my company, too, with no extra 'omg i love you!' pressure.
