On my washer/dryer combo and now he's stuck in the back of the dryer. I hear his wings flapping and he's frantic and scared and I can't do anything for him because I'm the only one who's home!! :(

Dammit Bob, there is no light. Just a dark dank place. How the fuck did he get in there? I didn't even know they could get into the vent! I don't get it!
HOW COME I HAVE AN ANIMAL TRAPPED IN MY ELECTRICAL APPLIANCE?
Poor guy. I'm having a friend come over and help me.

at my previous job, I would read technician remarks on repair calls and it was pretty commonplace for some stupid ass animal to get stuck in furnaces or dryers or pretty much anything else you could think of.

Maybe. Once my friend gets here we're going to check it out. I hear it's detachable though...
maybe this is a job for animal control
or the maytag repair man

So I had my two friends come over and my brother finally came home. They saw the bird was definitely in the air vent, because he was flapping around in the tube. Then the flapping stopped and he went into the dryer for sure. We took off the hose, put a garbage bag around the opening to try and scare him in there...nothing. No movement, no noise, nothing. We opened up the entire back of the dryer, can't find him anywhere. Not even his body. :(
I'm at my friend's house doing my laundry now because I leave for Canada in the morning and need fresh drawers. But it's so weird that the bird just didn't make any noise, we figured he MUST have gone up the air vent because we can't find him...but if he went up the air vent, we definitely would have heard AND saw it.
I'm utterly confuzzled.
