I'm sure y'all read about the new hip-hop track that Rick Rubin produced for Nike recently, featuring KRS-One, Nas, Kanye, and supposedly Rakim. Well, If you ain't heard it yet, get ready to cream your jeans. Super-ill beat, up to par with the 99 Problems remix. Lyrics are so-so, and Rakim isn't in this version, despite what other sources claim. Oh well, it definitely made my day, and probly tomorrow, and the next day, and, well..............
Hopefully this link will last... If you scroll through the daily news you'll find a link to it, plus a DJ Premier remix a little further down..

The beat is no 99 Problems, but it's definitely above average. KRS' verse was excellent.

That whole track was trash. Beat was terrible. Flows were terrible by all of them, because of the boring ass beat. That hook was gay.

I'm pretty sure it's the shoe, son.
Probably some promo song for an awards show, or commercial.
However it got here, cool. It's a good track, and my hearing is fine Mc...

i saw that song being performed on MTV when MTV2 aired the Nike anniversary special that took place in New York a while ago
still its nice to hear how it sounds like without the audience, cuz the crowd's noise kinda drowned the beat away

That Rubin version sounds totally horrid.
The Primo rmx would have been cool if it was out in 1995. That's right where it belongs - 12 years ago. If that was the brief then cool. If not - it sucks.
Big time.

ouch. i'm hella surprised with the reactions to this song. i think its totally refreshing, beat-wise. i can see some hating on the lyrical tip, nunna these cats really represent, but Rubin really dropped an anthem with it, if you ask me. i could listen to this beat all day.
