My favorite episode involved these weirdo killer people that lived in the forests of Florida and could camoflouge with the environment. Some cool shit.

The X-files was good kiddie viewing, but then I got older and Mulder left and it just wasn't the same.

Few X-Files related things have aged as well as Gillian Anderson, but current reruns are the preggie episodes... And Chainsmoking guys replacement was Johnny Depps Sargent (or whatever) on 21 Jump Street...

I can't believe you didn't just say "the Charles Nelson Reilly episode." Although I knew Jessie Ventura was in it too, and Alex Trebec. :p
I like all the funny episodes. I enjoyed the one with Owen Wilson--where Mulder remembers the guy being a buck-toothed, dumb local cop and Scully remembers him being attractive and somewhat intelligent.

I remember that one!
I always liked the one with the retarded guy who worked in the bowling alley and memorized numbers.

I didn't mean it as a criticism. It's just that I noticed the age difference. All of my friends would call that "the episode with Charles Nelson Reilly." It was the hugest deal when they did an episode around him. I'll bet that Charles Nelson Reilly doesn't loom large for you youngsters.
The Peter Boyle episode is another big one for us. None of us watched him on Raymond but he's beloved as the monster in Young Frankenstein.

i was creeped out by the theme song (too scared by the song to actually watch the show), my brother knew this so he would whistle it right before i would go to bed & that just left me awake under my covers for an hour with the theme song in my head:(

"What is this?"
"I think it's.... bile."
"How can I get this off my fingers without losing my cool exterior?"
hahaha. That's all I remember of the x-files. Whenever it is mentioned, I think of that.
Tooms was cool. I aslo liked Kyrczeck (I'm guessing that's how you spell it) and bits where people got oil poured in their eyes.
