the only oned I've heard is soul assassins vol. 1, and I thought it was somewhat of a sham, if you ask me. i don't know how he managed such a boring album with an all-star lineup like that, but he did. i really do want to hear grandmasters though. that's the one with GZA, right?

Yup. I didn't like the first one too much either, I think Wyclef Jean's John 3:16 is the best track on that album. The Xzibit track -You better believe it is the one I like best from Vol II. (...not to mention my cousin cookin' crack in my kitchen).
I haven't decided on the GZA album yet.

1 by default. 2 came out when muggs already become a lousy producer, and grandmasters.... well... muggs tried his best, bless his heart, but it still just isn't any good.

yeah, 3:16 is a raw track. the Dre and B Real track was actually pretty decent as well. it was called "puppetmasters", or something like that. or maybe I just found the match-up to be intriguing.
