the font on the to the 5 boroughs cover?

i have been curios since the day it came out , the closest i've come to figuring it out is the cover art for curtis mayfield's we come in peace with a message of love:confused: :p :confused: :p

It was originally a book by Matteo Pericoli, a New York based architect, called "Manhattan Unfurled". The book was 48 pages long and unfolded like an acordian. Think of TT5B as a smaller and shorter version of that book with the addition of the Beastie's name, lyrics, etc.

Oops. I didn't read you question carefully. You were asking about the font not the artwork. Sorry. The only thing I know about the font is that it's SO disco.

on a t-shirt, and ad, and something else ... i think another album
