Well, I've noticed around here that TT5B gets quite a bit of heat around here for whatever reasons, which is ok. But what songs did you like from TT5B the most?

I loved "The Brouhaha", "Crawlspace" and "Ch-Check It Out" the most. I'd say the first two mentioned were the ones that made me laugh the most, which is what they were going for, I think.

I thought this might be in the Frequent Post Archive but I couldn't find it.

What can't I be serious about, friend?

Rhyme The Rhyme Well, An Open Letter To NYC, Right Right Now Now, Hey Fuck You.

Those would be my favorite tracks on the album.

You've never heard the phrase getting heat, meaning getting negative attention?

People say it all the time around here.

I know it. But TT5B isn't booed out and spit at like Ric Flair. It's just rarely someones fave BB album...

Fair enough. I guess it would be lame to compare Licensed to Ill to Hulk Hogan now?

Yeah. Licensed to Ill is cool and all but it doesn't do enough leg drops.

yo JoBDDT, I know exactly what you mean by getting heat and it's good that people show it a bit more love here. I really liked Adrock's opening to Crawlspace, first time I heard it I didn't even know it was him! Crazy. I must admit I don't listen to it as often as I might Check your Head, but whenever I listen to it the whole way through I love it. Different which is good, same old BBoys which is classic!

Hogan is lame compared to Flair, so yes. Wrestling might not be the best subject to draw paralells here.

"Crawlspace" and "Oh Word?" are just delightful. I can't believe that they almost cut crawlspace from the final sequence. it was the first track that I dug into real hard.

Crawlspace is one of my least favorite tracks on the album. It's not bad by any means, just not "great."

this IS a frequent post topic by the way (http://www.beastieboys.com/bbs/showthread.php?t=25955) :p

right now i think my favorite songs are "we got the" and "the brouhaha"

i've been listening to just blaze's remix of ch-check it out more often than the original song as well, there's just something about it... ;)
