It definately wasn't classy, but then again with Lindy Ruff in the building it never is.


Neil and Peters should have fought just between the two of them, there was no need to bring in like 3 or 4 guys like Emery who had no idea what they were doing.

lame, cheesey, class-less, who cares! This is hockey and this stuff makes it more fun

Ottawa knew that the Sabres are going through a rough spot with injuries, half their roster are the Amerks (AHL), so hitting one of their captains with a dirty hit will most likely get a reaction out of most teams.

I'm sure the fight was more impressive in person, we only get a few camera angles at a time. I'm sure saturday will be intense....it better be

No, no, no. It wasn't lame that they were fighting. I LOVE HOCKEY FIGHTS. I watched sportcenter after the games and all Melrose was talking about was this "brawl." Four tards running around and exchanging punches for 2 seconds with 3 other tards doesn't make it a brawl, even if the goalie fought, which kicks ass when it happens. The fuckin benches didn't even clear.

blood on the ice makes my day. I love hockey fights. it's one of the reasons it's my favorite sport.

i was born in Ottawa and lived there for 8 years, so I stay faithful to them. I dont really follow hockey, I just hope they win though. Fights are always fun, especially when the coaches and goalies get involved.

i never knew there were so many knowledgeable hockey fans on this sight. have not both teams been cursed in the playoffs ... if so then i'm siding with the sabres cause buffalo fans have such terrible luck with their football team... i always root for the under dog!!!

Granted Buffalo teams have had horrible luck with playoffs/championships...the Sabres standing in the NHL shows they are quite capable of taking the Cup this year.

Compared to past Sabres teams this one is very streamlined, contrary to this incident they're not putting much emphasis on might as they are speed this season plus Miller's impeccable talent in goal tops it off.
