I know my boys never sold out to studio gangsta rap in the early/mid 90's, unlike some i wont name.
However, what lyrics did the boys spit that could pass for some villianous lyrical gangsta shit?!
My fav is basically the track: Looking down a barrel of a gun (which to me is what Paul Revere was to LTI).
Specifically;
Rolling down the hill snowballing getting bigger
An explosion in the chamber the hammer from the trigger
I seen him get stabbed I watched the blood spill out
He had more cuts than my man Chuck Chillout
24 is my age 22 is my gauge
Writing rhymes on a page going off in a rage
Out on a mission a stolen car mission
Had a little problem with the transmission

HER BOYFRIEND BEEFED HE WAS ON MY CASE
TOOK HER TO THE PLACE THREW THE MATRESS IN HER FACE
SHOT HOMEBOY IN HIS FUCKING FACE
Thats gangsta rap right there.

i always thought that "high plains drifter" was more of "paul revere" sequel.

i was always torn between "car thief" and "high plains drifter" (lb)
though i believe it's both of them. ;)

I'd have to go with High Plains Drifter, it's the spiritual successor to Paul Revere (y)
How's this for Gansta? (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gangsta_rap#Beastie_Boys)

My name's Mike D. and I'm about to get money.
Pulled out the jammy aimed it at the sky
He yelled, Stick 'em up! and let two fly
Hands went up and people hit the floor
He wasted two kids that ran for the door
I'm Mike D. and I get respect
Your cash and your jewelry is what I expect

Eminem:
"Dre grabbed the map, the plaques and the gold,
I grabbed two girles and a beer that's cold."
