...to see Black Rebel Motorcycle Club on Monday! :D

I'm leaving on Sunday evening, come back on Tuesday afternoon so I've got two mornings (well, propably just one knowing the other BRMC forum people attending the show... :p ) to roam around town. I haven't been there for over 10 years, I wonder how much has changed? I'm staying near Temple Bar, Roosta (or anyone else) do you know if there's any good alternative record shops around there? I was gonna avoid the big ones on Crafton St, but there's a couple of DVD's that I want so I propably have to pop into those as well. Also is the Guinness marmite available anywhere? And does Cornucopia still exist?

have a lovely trip! i went last easter. i posted pictures here (http://www.beastieboys.com/bbs/showpost.php?p=1183355&postcount=17015) and here (http://www.beastieboys.com/bbs/showpost.php?p=1183362&postcount=17016). hmm, when i went searching for them i thought they were going to be informative a la french postings, SEEMS NOT!

erm. if i remember rightly the red bar was the long hall. that was good. i was guided by a REAL LIFE DUBLINER so i was in good hands. we also went to the foggy dew. the porterhouse is touristy but that's where we met the strange 'farmer' people in the photos and they sold CHOCOLATE FUCKING FUDGE stout. yessah! oh, we went to the hairy lemon. the horseshoe bar. the temple bar, of course. um. well, we certainly went to a lot of places. hey! she was showing me around her old trinity drinking haunts. s'all good babes.

take plenty pictures and be sure to share them with us! :)

Thanks Beth and na§tee!
It's been quite a while since I've this excited about to travel! This concert is gonna be quite spectacular, BRMC are supporting the Killers at the mo, but doing some one off's and it's a great chance to hear their new stuff. The ones posted on their website (http://www.blackrebelmotorcycleclub.com/) are really promising!!!

well i know some vinyl stores up there but i cant point you in the right direction because im down in carlow
You don't have any addresses or anything? I usually find the record stores straight away (when I was in Barcelona I'd booked my hotel on the net and it happened to be around the corner of the street with all the best record shops in town!!!), but now I don't have that much time to search so I hope I'll find the best ones.

And most of the pictures will be taken of the band on stage... ;) When they're off then I can spending my memory stick on some other trivial pics. I don't have a spare battery for my camera and I don't know if chargers are allowed on flights (well you could strangle someone with it couldn't you!! I think it has gone into ridiculousness what you can't take along on your hand luggage).
