Me too.....

I didnt remember why right now, but once me and my others skate mates kicked a rollerblader ass badly. I think it was because he was simply a rollerblader.

I had some years and years ago, and smooth floored living room I used to glide about in, as any kind of bump in the pavement and I'd be on my arse.

Roller boots should come back, and legwarmers.

I used to hate rollerbladers, too, until last summer when I became one.

I can't help it. It's fun. :o

Not that I'm aware of. There are only two skate parks that I know about and they are both along the lake, one up north around Montrose and one out south around 31st street or maybe 33rd street. I can't remember. But I haven't heard anything about Millenium Park (I hate that name. I still call it Grant Park.)

Where you from?

rollerblading is cool..i like it and it's keep your ass in shape. I just dont adopt any official style. I just wear my normal clothes put on my blade and blaze trought the city without killing myself. The worst is thoses little rock on the street, they can be dangerous!

I blade, it's a great way to get some exercise with my friend who is exceptionally cute on blades, it beats driving down to town so to change it up we take different paths

I don't wear spandex nor are my blades some flashy cheesey colors....I'm not extreme but I can comfortably skate backwards, hop curbs, and get some speed

I hate running and I'm impatient so I don't walk places, I bike and blade in the warmer months and it works for me

I did a couple of seasons of those races, yeah. But they got too commercial. Yeah, now I go to this rollerblading retreat. Last time they took us down this canyon trail. It was just so beautiful, I had to...cry out, "I'm rollerblading," and it came echoing back...I'm rollerblading, I'm rollerblading, I'm roller..blading.

sopranos?

really? which season? i got em all!

i reckon my favourite ep of all time was when there was an intervention with christopher, and he called his mum a cunt and they all beat the shit out of him. then in the hospital the doc says to tony,

'your telling me he slipped off the kitchen counter???''

tony says '........he was wearing socks.'

classic.

Good old days. I think I remember why we kicked his ass. If I'm not mistaken, a roller ruined my friend's trick passing in front of him at the moment he was preparing to do it. Then they started to argue each other. When we saw that we had a 'Kids' moment.
Poor roller. :(
Unfair fights used to be nice. (y)

hardnox71

none of you can skateboard,
I used to freestyle way back in highschool (fucking twenty years ago). I was alright on flatland but not too hot on ramps. All in all, I was definitely alot better on a bike than I was on a skateboard. I could never find my balance point. I had a Jeff Kendall Mini for about three months before it got ran over by a car when it shot out from under me into the street. I figured "That's it. I'm going back to my bike."
