I think you can solicit charity without putting something so provocative in front of unsuspecting eyes. Or maybe make them fold-out ads so the viewer at least has some kind of warning.

They aren't as bad as, say, some pro-life picket signs that show aborted babies and such, but they're still a kind of assault. (n)

my cousin was born with a cleft lip or palate? not sure which one or what the difference is....he looks mostly normal now... even though it was fixed when he was a baby it still messed with his self esteem a lot growing up.
he's more outgoing now... has a girlfriend and everything, so thats good.
his girlfriend is hot too!

i know he considers himself lucky to have had surgery to fix the physical affliction... those poor children...

umm...I don't know, aren't those photographs like depicting...reality? Clefts aren't pretty, thats how it is.

Joaquin Phoenix was born with one of these, if I'm not mistaken. It's barely noticeable on him...but I'm sure he went through a few surgeries to get it that way.
