September? yowza!

Yeah...so I wonder what happens between the June European dates and September?

Maybe some US dates? Chicago?

Does anyone know if this is the only UK date? The Bestival site boasts its the only festival they will be doing.Glad there over here but kind of a hard trip to make if you live up North! Looks like Paris would be easier for us.As a bizarre sidenote anyone heard No Sheep Til Buxton by the Macc Lads? Wonder what the boys would make of it?!

lolz my boyfriend was just like "um no offence claire, but i don't think you'll be the happiest of bunnies after three days in a tent". i have a long standing and quite upsetting fear of tents. bad bad baaaaaaddd experiences. i have even said on NATIONAL TELEVISION (this is no word of a lie!) that i "strongly dislike camping". i did. i said it. on bbc news. oh god.

we may get one of those pimpin' teepees or something. but i think they have to have 6 people. seriously, if we can find four other clean board members who would share with us, it's a go-er! no funny bizness, paul.

£115 for a 3 day ticket! No 1 day tickets available! £305 for me, the wife, the car + ferry and a tent pitch! Bloody hell!

So they couldnt have played a festival with actual good music then? Oh dear dear dear. Well I wont be seeing them this time around

forget £115 - i've booked tickets to see them in Paris for around £33 a piece, and eurostar is £70 including a 3* hotel for the night...

tent for 3 days or a day in a wicked city & travel in (reasonable) luxury.

all I can say is "bonjour monsieur"

Anyone in? even though i'm in Southampton, UK - i'd still rather travel to Paris than the IOW... (lb)

£40 to fly to Paris from Coventry so I think I'll be going to that instead. The festival looks cool but the music line up is pretty weak I think.

Can you tell me more about your Eurostar / Hotel deal Toby? Might be worth looking into...

I'm not fond of Paris, and I'm not going to a three day festival in the Isle of Wherever. I'm going to hold out for a gig in Ireland or London again...

I'm glad to hear it! It shouldn't be all Brits and Americans.

Has there been any publicity for the concert in France? It's a small venue and not sold out.

I'm going to Paris, can't believe how quickly the tickets arrived!
Never been to Paris before so i'll make a short break of it. Not sure whether to fly from birmingham or the eurostar option, don't have a clue where to stay either-think i'll have to get some guidebooks

Considering going to Bestival but it'll be easier to get to paris! Think I'll hold out to see if a proper uk gig is announced.

I think we're gonna fly from Cov, be rude not to really at the price. We're gonna go from the Tuesday to the Friday so we get a couple of days to hang in Paris. I've been before but when I was much younger. Anyone know any good recommendations for hostels in Paris? There's 4 or 5 of us going, all blokes so we don't mind slumming it as long as it's cheap and in a decent location :) .

Love the way we're supposed to be the die hard beasties fans on this message board yet noone is willing to go to Isle of whyte to see them!! there's just something strange about that place and the festival doesnt sound that great -could they not find a better festival? I agree with going to paris except i'm on placement with work and can't have days off to go mid week :(
lets hope they arrange some other dates in mainland uk!!
