Nothing like that's been confirmed for the PS3. Personally, I'll wait til it comes out on PC, like I always do.

I heard a while ago they were going to make like an all-online MMORPG type thing where everyone in the city is a real life player. Anyone else remember hearing this?

My prediction:

It will be MMORPG, but it will be sloppy at best.

It will Span all the eras of GTA (start in present day, move to 1987, then to 1992, then back to 1987, then to 2003..etc..)

The soundtrack will rock as always.

It will be released 4 months later than expected.

They will improve the FPS interface x 1000 and make it more like Call of Duty, but allow users to flop back to classic gta POV.

You'll be able to choose which character you want: from a CJ-esque guy or Tommy Vercetti, or the gay guy from III. Choice of character will determine the path and outcome of the story.

I was thinking about waiting until I had my PS3 to buy it... but I might just get it for my 360 since it might be a while until I get a PS3 (I'm waiting for a decent price drop).

i rented Godfather for PS3 last weekend... SICK.

I think this is the way GTA4 will be. It's a lot like GTA but in the 20's NYC. The controls are out of this world. When you want to grab someone, you hold L1 and R1... head-butt by flicking the controller forwards (motion-sensor in the controller like the Wii)... you throw the person by flicking left or right and letting go of L1 and R1 at the same time.

Wow. It looks so nice that my computer can hardly even run the trailer (I'm not joking). I mean from the screenshots I wasn't too impressed but when you see the light effects and how the cars move and shit... heavy shit.

The bit where that car is driving past those apartment blocks in the sunset and the reflections on the car and the detail on the buildings and the people sitting on the steps is just mindblowing.

Looks like it's gonna be a Russian protagonist. Icy manipulator will be happy, everyone else will think it's lame and annoying.
