And I'm by myself.
In the Safety Department.

And I know zero about all the safety rules for this company other than what's written. And every single call I've gotten today was not on the list so I had to ask someone else.

I work for a pretty prestigious non-profit bio research place. As an office admin but I gotta learn some of the safety stuff too. I was in computer land and had to leave that last job because how sick I kept getting in Dec/Jan.

I'd post the name but you know. The internet and all.

and maybe by process of elimination people would figure out which company, but!

When I park I have a fantastic, panoramic view of the ocean. It rules. I definitely came in to this job as a "I need money so..." but it's the kind of thing where if I can end up moving up I might want to stay a while till I get back to school. I feel happy to come here because I like the company and it's work.

Oh, and so far I'm surviving alone.

bobby is pretty much the king of cliches, or making something into a cliche because he says it too much. one of my favorites is "safety doesn't happen by accident." you can use it on the phone as you hang up with the callers. just make sure you say it with a serious voice.

ahaha

we have a lot of foreigners here (scientists). I can imagine their reactions to that saying, just from the little contact I've had with them thus far. And it makes me :D thinking about it.

I forget now but at that time I was in a particularly sexual mind frame and alas I cannot remember what the hell I was thinking about.
