Me too to an extent. Why is everyone so afraid of change? I want them to come out with something that no one's ever done before. They would suck if they stayed the same since 1987.

Im actually really excited abour what its gonna be. I love not hearing what it is, cause the day it comes out I will do a trip into town by myself with beastie's cranking, buy the cd and SPRING to my car for a listen. Gonna be exciting/SiK :)

word. alotta people frettin' that it could be an instrumental record, but that word entails so much. instrumental could be anything and everything under the sun. once you get over the no lyrics thing, you can really start to imagine the possibilities.

Bring on the disco!!

...and the calypso and trance and bebop and bluegrass and samba and whatever it may be.

I'm not going to ignore any titbits people throw around regarding this joint. I remember pre tt5b some guy claimed he had heard a new track with an old school beat/sample that everyone dismissed. It later turned out to be 'triple trouble'.
Also I remember dissing some guy because he heard that a tt5b track was called 'hey fuck you'. I can remember how propostrous that sounded at the time

Wouldn't the studio would be filled with percussionist gear if that were the case?

Ive heard a tons of disco remakes but Ive never heard anyone trying to remake disco!

rap/hip hop was born from disco.

The studio pic I've seen does show some percussionist gear. And it's been confirmed that Alfredo has worked on the album.

That's sounds Krazy! Krazy I tell you after they've never entered territory like that except for "Hey Ladies"

If that's what it takes for them to play that live then so be it

My only question is what will get them to play "Funky Boss" live

I was the first one to claim mid-2003, that TT5B would be an all hip-hop album, with no instruments...
and nobody believed me...
