I think it would be awesome if the Beastie Boys released a double-album filled with all of their b-sides and unreleased songs (they could probably make a triple or quadruple album!). Well, maybe a 4-part series. Imagine how cool that would be, and people would definitely buy it. Dope Little Song, Scenario, I'm Down, Rock Hard, Soba Violence, Resolution Time, etc. etc. They could remaster some of the songs, even it out, and we would have easy access to all of them.

Nah, it would be good to have them all in one place in a nice little package. Plus, your collection would be fine. You'll still have the original versions complete with artwork. I cherish my collection as well. ;)

That's what the make-your-own anthology was for. That's what I used it for anyway.

I bought a pretty legit (as legit as one can get) CD of B-sides and rare tracks from Amoeba in SF. It was called Beatsie Beats and had Bruce Lee on the cover. i popped that shit into my computer and all the song names popped up and everything. It was tight cause I didn't have most of the tracks! So I have all that stuff, but I probably would still buy a real release if they did that.

The Vibes & Now Get Busy - Greatest B-Sides Ever

Agree. The Vibes was the best b-side ever! I liked the songs they made with DJ Hurricane back in '94. Adrock was on Stick 'Em Up and all 3 were on Four Fly Guys.

That's actually a b-side song by The KLF called "America No More", that for some reason made it onto the end of a Beastie bootleg in the 90s.

Official B-Sides release>>>>The Mix Up with vocals.

I wouldn't consider Skills a true Beastie B-Side, as it gets played live. My favourites are Rock Hard (should be done live), Mullet Head, Desperado and 33% God. An old friend of mine put the Shake your Rump pella on top of 33% God, and the re-arrangement sounded sweet as.

Yauch even told Zorra a B-Sides album would be cool. Fuck yes it would be cool.

I'm gonna be Debbie Downer and say that they'll never do it because of the Science Anthology. That had a bunch of the better b-sides. 'Cept Vibes of course. And Peanut Butter & Jelly, and Hail Sagan and...wait a minute..

Maybe this is an idea woth exploring. and of course I'd buy it.

I like Beastie Groove, thier true rhyme skills really come out on that song.

I'm nuts about the Beastie Groove - I've always liked tag-team type rapping and posse cuts and stuff like that which were quite popular in early hip hop but the Beasties are one of very few to keep those tight back and forth routines at the forefront of their repertoire. I like uptempo drum machine hip hop too and their rhymes show their talent in depth - considering it's from '85 it's nuts!

Also - big thanks to Klepto - I've never heard the Vibes but that Z Share file looks Kosher - I'll check it out in the internet cafe after work - many thanks!
