...anybody feel this is something that could be cool-- how would you design the game? :)

I would have a third person beat-em-up/shooting game where the B-Boys go around violently murdering all their most annoying fans. The first level would involve Yauch checking out the boards and his Anger Meter filling up with every stale topic and idiotic notion he came across in Beastie General. From then on it would just involve the Boys going round to offending posters' houses and gruesomely destroying them.

I'm not sure if many people know this but the Beasties were once very close to having a game starring them and centering around their music.

It was some time after Check Your Head and it was going to be an arcade game. It had you doing things like fighting the "Turntable King" on a gigantic turntable and a lot of other weird things with your ultimate goal being to get to P.J. to play a show.

When the company that made the game showed it to them to get the final approval they thankfully had the common sense to say no.

that would be awesome game but it would have to have some Spinlter Cell also! (y)

There would be a side-quest put in where if you didn't get to certain boardmembers' houses in time they would already have been killed with nothing but a trail of destruction and a mysterious note from me. The end of the game would involve the Beastie Boys finding me and thanking me by buying me the biggest penthouse in NYC.

Yep we sure are. I recall Money Mark opening for Beck during a college tour around the time of the "Loser" single..but when I attempted to research it with Beck super-fans and they weren't very helpful. IF any one out there has ticket stubs, flyers, or photos of Money Mark in concert please share them with us at: staff at beastiemania.com
