Is It Normal for the 'Boys To "Tour" like this in the Summer?

I am a newer fan, and I am wondering, is this normal for an album debut year?

WHY NO SHOWS IN AMERICA?

They toured before LTI dropped and twice after it dropped.
PB - no official tour...just a few shows.
CYH - they toured twice.
IC - they toured with lollapolooza and then again on their own quadrophonic tour.
HN - they had the In The Round tour and a cancelled tour with Rage.
TT5B - had some pre-pageant shows in Europe and the US, then the Pageant.

Since TT5B, we've had a couple of shows promoting AIFST, then a benefit gig, as well as the west coast shows. Then the Good Vibrations shows.

Then you sprinkle in some BS2000, Quasar, and TFC shows plus another benefit show here or there.. and probably a few others I'm missing.
