Okay, so I'm trying to participate in a study for panic disorder (they get to do imaging of my brain and I get like $400 bucks) but first they needed to do an interview. And the only time they have available, I'm at work. So they ask me awkward questions like how many medications I've been on the past, whether or not I've hurt myself in the past, what kind of injuries I've had, what doctors/psychologists I've been to, any drug/alcohol use in the past, etc. etc. Granted, my employers know everything about this anyways so I'm not bringing up anything new. But my coworkers didn't know.

AWK-WARD. :(

SHIT! You shoulda had them call you on your mobile, then go outside. I imagine they suspect you of getting telephone therapy now...

Well they knew I had an interview for NIH. But they didn't know about how messed up I was when I was a kid. Heh. :-/

I should have done the mobile thing, but I hate leaving my desk when I'm supposed to be checking on emails and responding...plus, it's normally not this quiet, people are usually talking and bustling. But it's like, RIGHT when I got that phone call, everyone shut up pretty fast and started listening.

I didn't know what to say when she asked if I hurt myself, so I said yes and didn't want to be more specific, so I forced her to ask yes or no questions instead. I really hate who I was when I was 15. A lot.
