Here’s my idea: A celebrity based cooking show where 3 or 4 guests come and prepare their favourite or signature dish in an Iron Chef like kitchen….however, this is not a competition: after the meals are done they all sit down and share them, talk a little about their bands, films, books or talk a little about their future plans….really casual like…..kind of like Jon Favreau’s “Dinner for 4” (I loved that) but hosted by Anthony Bourdain…..as it’s not a contest there won’t be a winner but each guest’s appearance fee would go to a charity of their choice......whatta ya think?

Ajo del elefante,el crítico!.....I'm pulling your executive producer credit and revoking your parking spot......you can still come to the set and volunteer gaff as long as you stop touching the people....

basically i want to take over Good Eats when Alton Brown retires and make it vegan. otherwise the same, though. or i can just be an intern for him. <3alton<3

I really like when he brings the science and history aspects of food prep and consumption to light....he's like the Bill Nye of the culinary world.....plus that pantry he has is rad.....(y)

how about this:
put all the hosts, guests and food in a giant blender. blend for like five minutes. (cut for commercial) then all of the audience stir fry all the residue and wash it down with cheap white wine.
ps don't steal my format

There's a kind of cool thing one of the newspapers around here does. Basically, people enter a contest of sorts and are picked at random, and the chef just shows up at their house if they're the winner. Then the chef scopes out whatever food they already have on hand and makes a (hopefully) gourmet meal from whatever's around.
Some of the recipes wind up being pretty interesting. Or at least inventive.

I think there was a t.v show based on a similar premise…..reminds of that Take Home Chef cat…..maybe the smoothest Australian I’ve ever seen….I think it’s a pre-requisite that ya have to be “one of the beautiful people” to be ambushed at the market by him….
