I just watched the o-scope cam.
Yauch was playing with the camera, showing the dog, adrock etc.
And he wrote on a CD. Just after he showed the CD. Here is what it was written :

MARCH 9, 07

NEW JOINTS

It could be, but a new joint is considered to be a new song. I think these are a new group of songs that they either just finished mastering, or sending to another place to be mastered.

Perhaps the album is done but is still untitled, therefore a burned copy of the disc was given the makeshift "NEW JOINTS" title because the contents are, indeed, "new joints."
