after finishing off an awful school assignment I decided to play some with my favourite beastie lyrics. here's the tad old school'ish result:

Fucking awesome. The vocals sounded sweet - but did the song just cut out, or was that just my computer acting up again?

it does cut itself after 1:55, was in a hurry so couldn't make it longer but I might do that some day soon.

Groovin'. Love the use of the Public Enemy-ish portamento climbs (don't know what else to call them:) ).

Cool, great riff!
The cutoff at the end doesn't sound bad, it's quite natural. But in this case more is better (;

aight, I finished the remix. it's basicly just the same all over again, only a bit longer. + mixed the vocals a bit, should sound less muddy now. d fast - root down (http://www.dfastmusic.net/music/dfast-rootdown.mp3)
mighty thanks for all the comments!

thanks a lot for all the comments!!
I was wondering.. I'm releasing a self paid cd in a few weeks and I was thinking of including the remix in it.. I just dunno if it's legal? And if there's a chance I could include the song in the cd, who should I contact for the permission?
I'll make 300 copies of the cd, mostly for promotional use but I also try to get even with the costs.
