good, except I can turn it on and off. usually I prefer not to smell things. although as I get older, it's not as easy to do. I say, "I don't use my nose for smelling", but cort always gets mad because she thinks it sounds like I use something else for smelling. :cool:

but unless there's a particularly pungent smell around, I usually have to consciously decide to smell something. I'm a mutant.

I also have a habit of describing smells like, "it smells like 2nd grade in here".

It's usually pretty shit but I've noticed it gets a lot better if I go for a few hours without smoking.

oooh good question. not something you think about frequently, i guess, unless asked!

erm. good, methinks. but i doubt you can really scientifically test it with limited experience. i can smell weed smoked in a room days and days ago, but then again weed isn't exactly the most subtle of smells. i know if people use conditioner on their clothes or not. i know if someone has used my herbal essences shampoo :mad:

I was in a video store this weekend and, though the bathroom is tucked down a hallway behind a door, the hallway just has divider walls rather than walls that run all the way up to the ceiling, right? So anyway, I was in the back of the store browsing, and somebody must've had a small animal crawl up their bum and die, because WOW the place literally smelled like shit. I almost said something to one of the workers at the registers, along the lines of "Maybe somebody could take a can of air freshener back there" but then I realized, no, maybe it was one of them who had done it.

It was just awful. I kept browsing at the front, killing time, and then gingerly making my way toward the back again, and I could still smell it. :(

The residual smells hang around, like when the cat dumps in her box. I wrote a note saying "Poopins in teh box" and left it on the fridge, yeah Zorra, I can smell your anecdotometer going off the charts. I could smell it for hours afterwards. Poopins in teh nozz.

but what if im wrong and my smell sense is just weak and i smell like a donkey without knowing it?!!?!

in my whole life i never noticed that my feet smell
