Honestly I would say its a toss up between II and The Final Chapter.


II rules cuz of the post coital spear thru the two kids, and also the kid in the wheelchair getting a machete in the face and rolling down the stairs. Also, Mrs Voorhees head in the shack in the woods is pretty cool I feel.

The Final Chapter rules because it has both Corey Feldman and Crispin Glover, and it ends with a bald Corey Feldman hacking the shit out of Jason with a machete.


Overall, the franchise went to dogshit (even by Friday the 13th standards) at Part 6. Jason Goes to Hell and that other new bullshit isnt included even though I did enjoy Freddy Vs Jason.

Jason Lives will always be my favourite, the whole scene were he comes back to life is so amazingly contrived you have to apluad it.

Jason X is definitely one of the worst things human civilisation has ever been responsible for.

I thoroughly enjoy the entire series even though it does have its low points. What can I say? I'm a fan of shitty horror films.

I'm still going with the second though.

#1 had the best ending but Jason was not really in the film so I will go with #2.
